Who we are

KC Tech Trades is a Kansas City–area next-gen jobs portal and early-career coaching pilot, operated by One Day Systems LLC. Contact: [email protected]. Website: https://kctechtrades.com.

Agreement

By using this website, joining the beta seeker group, or emailing us for coaching, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

We provide free (during beta) coaching and related intros to help early-career seekers find will-train and early-career roles — especially in tech and advanced manufacturing careers in the Kansas City area. Coaching is mainly by email. Soft intros to employers happen only with your opt-in.

What the service is not

• Not a job guarantee, placement guarantee, or wage promise
• Not an accredited school, tuition program, or enrollment contract
• Not LinkedIn/Indeed automation or scraping
• Demo /app portals are UI demos with fictional data, not live accounts

Beta / changes

The service is in beta. We may change, pause, or discontinue it anytime, with or without notice. We make no guarantees about results, response times, or continued availability.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information (signup, resume, replies)
• Use the service lawfully and respectfully
• Do not submit content you do not have the right to share
• Mentors/parents sharing a seeker’s info should do so with the seeker’s knowledge

Employer intros

Any soft intro is optional and consent-based. Employers make their own hiring decisions. We are not a party to any employment relationship between you and an employer.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, and materials we create belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for competing services without permission. You keep ownership of your resume and materials you submit; you grant us permission to use them to coach you and (with opt-in) for soft intros.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that coaching will lead to a hire or that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ONE DAY SYSTEMS LLC AND KC TECH TRADES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST WAGES, OPPORTUNITIES, OR DATA, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (CURRENTLY $0 IN BETA), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or content you submit, to the extent allowed by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Johnson County, Kansas have exclusive venue for disputes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
